Outdoor Indoor Fun At Willows Activity Farm

Updated: Aug 13, 2019

We all love a good family day out. Whether they are planned or spontaneous it's great when you see your child having so much fun and the rest of the family are having a good time too. However taking the kids out for the day isn't always an easy task and you always hope that wherever you're going has all the facilities that you need. We are all very fortunate that we have so many places to visit, not just in London, but the surrounding counties and throughout the country. If only time and money were not a factor, wouldn't it be great to get to go anywhere and everywhere. There are some places however, that are just that little bit extra special and warrant a visit or two.

A few weeks ago Little Ellen (our daughter) turned one years, and as a treat we decided to go Willows Activity Farm. It had been high recommended to us, and had been on our list of places to visit for a while. It really didn't disappoint. The farm is completely centred around the adventures of Peter Rabbit & Co and was set up for Easter, which was perfect as we got to take part in the Easter Egg hunt. Our three year old son absolutely loved it and even with not so perfect weather we still managed to have great time. We will definitely return to the farm in the summer, however, this time with a pack lunch. The food and drinks were a little pricey, but there was a good selection of hot and cold. And I think it would just be nice to sit outside, set up a picnic and enjoy the scenery. So if you are looking for a good family day out over the bank holiday or upcoming half term then do check out the farm. www.willowsacitivityfarm.com

10 Reasons Why We Love Willows Activity Farm....

A variety of farm animals to see, feed and touch.

Plenty to see and do, with a great site layout which is manageable to walk around with the kids. Everywhere is wheelchair and pushchair friendly.

The live shows are so fun, energetic and really gets the kids going. There is also opportunity to meet and greet Peter Rabbit.

Unique activities set up around the site, for example, panning for gold and a ride on the runaway tractor.

A large indoor soft play area - great for rainy days or for toddlers (and older kids) that need to let loose for a while.

Great outdoor activity adventure parks that are great for the kids to explore and really get their imaginations going.

The yummiest old school donuts around - not at all oily or sickly. There are quite a few cafes/snack bars on the farm, and little food prep areas complete with microwave for the tiny tots.

Plenty of seating areas for a rest and comfort breaks.

Adequate amount of wash station set up throughout the farm reminding us to wash our hands, and they are at a good height for the little people.

There is a day nursery on sight. Imagine this activity farm being your nursery - those lucky kids!
